Simon Wild visits the colourful world of Patrick Hruby
Los Angeles based illustrator Patrick Hruby knows a thing or two about working with simple shapes and patterns to assemble complex and visually immersive geometrical landscapes.
Patrick is one of many illustrators working today who are engaging with a highly distinctive visual identity in their work. Not only does this make Patrick’s work commercially appealing, it also underpins it with a sense of mythology; that somehow, somewhere these architectural worlds might actually exist. Such is the power of illustration to suspend our disbelief and invite us to believe in something more than the familiar realities of our everyday.
Thanks for the beautiful work Patrick. Looking forward to seeing more!
Have a great weekend!
