Wild Fridays: [Signpainters Pt2 - Business As Usual]

Simon Wild continues his sign painting series with a look at some of the artists featured in Business As Usual, a sign painting show at The Book Club

A group of today’s most talented sign painters have been brought together for Business as Usual, an exhibition of high quality hand painted letters and signs. The show features traditional signs, quotes, gold leaf, decorative letterforms and more.

The exhibition is a celebration of the craft of traditional sign painting and is further evidence of new artists taking up the practice  and forging a brand new place in the world for beautifully hand brushed letters.  The artists on show have created work for ‘fictional businesses’ by using a variety of surfaces and materials to create their signs. Below is a selection of past works from a few of the artists featured.
